Good Evening Everyone,

Well another week of Hyperbaric treatments have come and gone. I still don't feel anything from the treatments but I am tolerating the new trachea tube for 12 to 14 hours each day and maybe that counts for something. We saw Dr. Durham on Thursday Feb. 3rd. He has referred us to Dr. Yee a Thoracic surgeon who has asked me to have a CT Scan before I see him. I had blood tests right after the appointment with Dr. Durham and the results were faxed to Dr. Yee and we expect to hear from VGH this week about the CT Scan. Once that is done, we wait for the appointment with Dr. Yee. Dr. Durham also recommended we go to UBC to the sleep centre about my sleep apnea. The folks at the Hyperbaric unit helped us fill out the request for a special consult and we have been told that we will likely go to the head of the line.

So it has been a good week for us and we hope next week will be as fruitful.
